This weekend, Nobel Peace Prize Winner, President Barack Obama began work to end discrimination against members of the LGBT community by recommending the end of the military's don't ask, don't tell policy. Mark Kirk disagrees. See here too.
I always wondered why Kirk got any support from the LGBT community, but the Log Cabin Republicans always endorsed him no matter what discrimination he touted. I've always believed that if a person can discriminate againt one or two or three groups, he can discriminate against anyone and everyone.
Also, Kirk has a history of backing off any policy he's ever taken when it becomes politically expedient. Frankly, I think everyone should beware of everything he claims to support or not.

Just a question. Besides his one vote against DADT, has Kirk voted or worked against the LGBT community on any other issues?
