Bob Dold Please Explain Your Voter's Registration in Winnetka While Obtaining a Homeowner's Exemption in Chicago

So, we're confused over here at E10, or maybe not.

You should probably start out by reading our prior post about Bob Dold's jobs and residences here. Then come back to take a look at his voter's registration.

Carl was in the city today and took a look at some voter registration records. At the Clerk's office, Carl discovered that Bob Dold was registered from the beginning of their online records in 1994 to March 15, 2007 at the Warwick address in Winnetka. The Warwick property being Bob Dold Jr.'s parents home since 1968 per the Torrens certificate recorded October 23, 1992 as document 92790650.

We also know from the voter spreadsheets that candidate Bob Dold Jr. voted in Illinois in every general election since 1994, but not in the primaries in 1994, 1996 and 1998 and that he had a new registration in 2007, probably the March 15, 2007 registration Carl found.

Then, Carl went over to the Chicago Board of Elections. He talked to a supervisor who confirmed that Danielle Dold voted in general elections from the Roscoe Village address in 2002, 2004 and 2006. She voted in no primaries or local elections.

Remember, the Dold's owned the Roscoe Village property from September 2002 until January 2007. They obtained a homeowner's exemption in 2005 and 2006 in which they had to tell the County Assessor that the property was their principal place of residence.

It seems to me that the only way all of this could be true at the same time is if the Dold's were not living together from 2002 to 2007.

Does the Dold campaign care to explain?

Robert J. Dold, Jr., You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say may be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to speak to an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed to you. Do you understand these rights as they have been read to you?

So has he EVER voted in the 10th district?

Apparently yes. We have a copy of his certificate of registration, his registration form and voting history report.

That, together with the information Carl received from the Cook County Clerk's office.

Maybe someone should inform the screaming nutjob who was at the debate and wouldn't stop yelling at Dan afterward about where he was going to vote. Between this and Dold's new habit of avoiding public forums to which he's already committed, it seems the more you know the more you will not be voting for Dold.

I'm wondering how Bob Dold produced ID that he lived at Warwick in Winnetka in his 2007 registration. Also, if he didn't intend to stay there, he signed an affidavit that he did. It's unlikely to me that after selling the Roscoe Village property he intended to live with his parents with a wife and 3 kids.

I wonder what address Dold had on his drivers license.

Good research! But anyone who thinks republicans will be swayed by revealing that Dold is another pathological liar, tax dodger and fraudulent voter like Kirk, is too idealistic. They already know, and they support him anyway. Dirty tricks and hypocrisy are a way of life for them. Now Dold is hiding under the bed and avoiding all public non-partisan forums- just like Kirk.

Drivers license address is a big one. It's an old trick for young adults in the city to keep the parents' suburban address on your drivers license and car registration as long as you can so that you can get the lower suburban car insurance rates. Of course, one down side is that you can't vote in the city.

I was also wondering about the drivers license. Ray may have the answer but really, it's not that much more for insurance in the city if you're over 25. I made a lot less money than Dold seems to have and it was only a minor gripe for me when I lived in the city.

This is totally bizarre.
