We Don't Protect Seniors in Eric Cantor's America

If 50% of todays seniors use Social Security as their sole source of income, what does Cantor think is going to happen in the future? How does Cantor think the rest of us will fund our retirements? If we cannot retire, what jobs does he expect us to work in our old age?

What would you rather do with the money than protect your own and your childrens retirement years?

What do you think Cantor wants to do with the money we've already paid into the system rather than fund Social Security? I'd guess he advocates the government steal what's already been paid into the Social Security trust fund by folks like you and I and eliminate taxes for the wealthy and corporations altogether.

If Cantor gets his wish and Social Security is eliminated in our time, shouldn't he pay us back for what we've already paid in?

Cantor spoke these words at the Hoover Institute. It's named after President Herbert Hoover, the man who presided over the stockmarket crash of 1929 and then did nothing allowing it to turn into the Great Depression. Why do we even have a Hoover Institute now? Why would we ever want to perpetuate the policies of the president who sunk us into such an economic disaster?

Do you want to live in Eric Cantor's America?
