Classic case pitting politicians against science. Politicians say, "Believe Obama was the 911 mastermind because we say so." Science says, "OK, prove it." Resolution: "Insult scientist and continue braying that Osama is 911 mastermind."
I haven't heard enough to say wether they should have shot him or not. I did hear on the news today that Osama's wife lunged at one of the Navy Seals. I must admit, I'm glad he's dead and glad they buried him at sea.

Asked about the final confrontation with bin Laden, Panetta said: "I don't think he had a lot of time to say anything." The CIA chief told PBS NewsHour, "It was a firefight going up that compound. ... I think it - this was all split-second action on the part of the SEALs."
